MVP Lacrosse will offer a Position-Specific Lacrosse Camp Summer 2014

With youth and high school lacrosse going the direction of travel teams and summer tournaments, I believe instruction can be lost in game preparation.

Skillman, NJ (PRWEB) March 28, 2014

Jim Stagnitta, founder of MVP LLC, will launch a position specific instructional lacrosse camp this summer. The camp, with co-directors Jim Rogalski (Head Coach Lafayette University) and David Metzbower (Assistant Coach Loyola University) will focus on high-level instruction specific to the players’ position. The camp will be held at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ on July 14th-17th and is open to players age 10 to high school senior.

This unique instructional event is geared toward drilling both basic and advanced fundamentals to each player’s specific position. This will be accomplished with an elite staff of college lacrosse coaches, high school lacrosse coaches and current Major League Lacrosse players. Participants will also be instructed on team concepts and have the opportunity to play in full field game situations each day. The quality of the staff separates MVP Lacrosse from other instructional lacrosse camps and will help players of all skill levels increase their game to the next level.

“With youth and high school lacrosse going the direction of travel teams and summer tournaments, I believe instruction can be lost in game preparation. The chance for a player to be taught position specific fundamentals and tools from college coaches is an opportunity that will take their game to a different level and help to separate them from the competition. I have run instructional camps for over 22 years and have witnessed the results of players learning from professional teachers and coaches. We have assembled a strong group of coaches who make a living teaching lacrosse at a high level.” Jim Stagnitta.

Jim Stagnitta founded MVP Lacrosse in 1999, and has built and sustained a reputation of quality and excellence by providing a diverse range of services and programs. From teaching camps and skill development to team exposure tournaments and college lacrosse recruiting educational initiatives, MVP Lacrosse has set the standard in the field for overall excellence and dedication to the well being of every player. With over thirty years of experience at all levels of coaching, including high school, D-1 and D-3 college and major league, Stagnitta brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the lacrosse community ensuring a high-level of value to the players, teams, parents and college coaches participating in MVP events and services.
Stagnitta is the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Arcadia University in Glenside, PA after concluding 2013 with an undefeated regular season as Head Coach of the MLL Denver Outlaws and named MLL Coach of the Year.
