M.W. Lashgari’s new book takes unique approach to phonics
LONDON (PRWEB) January 07, 2015 -- Author M.W. Lashgari presents teachers, parents and children with a unique approach to education in her new storybook compilation, “A Collection of Children's Stories: With a focus on Phonics I” (published by AuthorHouse UK).
As the subtitle suggests, “A Collection of Children's Stories” introduces phonics to children, but it doesn’t stop there. Lashgari promotes good morals and values by incorporating a different lesson into each of the six stories in her book. Her whimsical characters fill the pages with color to ensure her stories are entertaining as well as educational.
“This book will appeal to teachers because it provides a resource to link with the phonics lessons they teach,” Lashgari says. “It will appeal to children because the entertaining stories will help feed and develop their imaginations. Each story in Lashgari’s new book focuses on one sound and provides many words as examples. The targeted sounds are highlighted using different colors to attract children’s attention and help with recall.
