Attorney Mark T. Guithues to Speak at Southern California Law Seminar & Expo
Anaheim, CA (PRWEB) March 14, 2016 -- Attorney Mark T. Guithues, one of the first community managers to register with the fledgling California Association of Community Managers (CACM) in 1992, is slated to be a featured speaker at the CACM Southern California Law Seminar & Expo. The event takes place March 17-18 at Disneyland Hotel. Guithues will be speaking about practical implications of the California Solar Rights Act.
“Directors of community associations are oftentimes unclear as to their responsibilities when owners and their solar contractors demand the right to install,” said Guithues, founder of Community Legal Advisors Inc. “This symposium will provide directors with the answers they need to successfully navigate the complex world of solar rights as they apply to installing solar systems within community associations.”
Guithues is a longtime supporter of CACM and has energetically dedicated his time to educate its membership. He is also an instructor for the Certified Community Association Managers (CCAM) licensing program, has authored numerous articles for and served on the publications committee of Vision Magazine (the association’s quarterly publication) and presently serves on the CACM Legislative Action Committee.
“This is an outstanding organization that provides real-time strategies for a real-time world,” said Guithues. “At this year’s CACM Southern California Law Seminar & Expo, community managers will hear real-life examples of problems and be taught best practices for implementing new California legislation and case law.”
