When you write the book for the industry as Mark Sonder has done, "Event Entertainment and Production," you get called upon to share your knowledge, expertise and sharing abilities. And so, The George Washington University's School of Business with the Master's of Tourism Administration (Degree: MTA) in Washington DC has done just that. Mark Sonder, besides being the Chief Entertainment Officer at the award winning national entertainment agency, is now a Lecturer in Tourism Studies.
This academic appointment means Sonder will join 13 other faculty members in the program which includes: Event and Meeting Management, Sport Management, Hospitality Management and Sustainable Tourism Destination Management. Sonder instructed at The University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV) for 6 years in the Harrah's Hotel School. He also taught at the Master's level at the University of West Indies in their Trinidad & Tobago campus for 2 seasons.
