Palm Springs, CA (PRWEB) May 22, 2014
Brad Schmett, Broker Associate with Luxury Homes by Keller Williams today announced that the Palm Springs Air Museum's Annual Flower Tribute to military veterans and active duty men and women of the United States on May 26, 2014 from 1pm to 4pm will be a big boost to local real estate as the spotlight shines on the patriotic Coachella Valley.
For the 16th consecutive year the Palm Springs Air Museum will engage a B-25 Mitchell bomber to do a special flyby over the local Air Museum and air drop over 3000 red and white carnations across the runway in loving memory of the fallen heroes of World War I, World War II, Korea and Vietnam, as well as the Persian Gulf, Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan. The impressive ceremony draws thousands from across Southern California and includes a daylong schedule of activities and events honoring our military heroes.
Schmett commented on the annual tradition, “This is one of our proudest traditions here in the Valley and it is always well attended. With our location being as close as we are to the Twenty-Nine Palms Marine Base we are accustomed to seeing soldiers quite frequently, as well as caravans of troops on practice missions. These courageous and dedicated men and women are deserving of our respect and recognition every day of the year. It is especially gratifying to offer our best on Memorial Day as we stand in unity to pay tribute to all of them.”
Those interested in attending the festivities at the Palm Springs Air Museum may contact the museum directly for directions and hours. Tickets may be purchased on the day of the event at the Museum.
