Toronto’s Metro College of Technology Now Offers Part-Time AutoCAD Training

Based on popular demand for AutoCAD training, Metro College now continue to offer a part-time AutoCAD training program on weekends to accommodate the schedules of working students.
The new class for the part-time AutoCAD program starts October 24, 2015!
AutoCAD is provided within the framework of three different Metro College Departments: Toronto Training for Mechanical Engineers, Toronto Training for CNC Programmers & Machinists and Toronto Training for Civil and Structural Engineers. Many positions in the engineering field, such as drafters, designers, technicians and technologists and engineers use AutoCAD for drafting and design purposes.
Metro College AutoCAD training program provides students with comprehensive, hands-on training on both 2D CAD systems which lets user work on the X and Y axis only, and 3D CAD systems that allows for work on X, Y and Z axis. Students learn how to develop a design from specs, and present designs using visualization tools. A major Drawing Project provides students with the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge learned throughout the program, and create a design from beginning to end.
