Fill Out The FAFSA Says Education Consultants To College Bound Students
Miami, Fla. (PRWEB) February 01, 2016 -- Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and CSS Profiles (if applicable) as soon as possible. A number of merit aid scholarships require the FAFSA or CSS Profile to be filled out, and students and their parents do not want to miss those deadlines.
The FAFSA also determines eligibility for federal student loans and the federal student-work program. Students are advised to complete and submit your FAFSA as soon as possible. Some deadlines were as early as the end of January.
"Don't wait, because it’s being said that new ID and password requirements for the FAFSA are so strict that they’re causing delays and frustration for people rushing to file applications to meet deadlines, said independent education consultant Mandee Heller Adler, CEO of International College Counselors.
Florida students, make sure to register for the Florida Bright Futures and other grants and scholarships offered by the State of Florida.

Before submitting the form, make sure what is required is completely understood. Students who use a name that does not match what is on their Social Security card or who submit any other wrong information can cause delays or reporting errors.
Remember, there is no fee for filling out the FAFSA. Make sure to only use the official FAFSA website.
"All families who have a student planning to attend college in the upcoming academic year should fill out the FAFSA," said Adler.
