Michael Wiggan examines questions and contradictions of the Bible
Orlando, Fla. (PRWEB) July 11, 2013 -- “If the God from the Old Testament declared that no man may see his face and live, and if Jesus is God, then why is it that many in the New Testament saw Jesus’ face and continued to live?” Michael Wiggan asks. He pondered this contradiction, and others, as he poured over the Bible and exhaustively researched the subject. As he read and as he uncovered compelling supporting evidence, Wiggan realized that God showed himself in several forms in the Old Testament, and he began to form his own opinions.
The result became Wiggan’s new book, “The Unrecognized King” (published by AuthorHouse). “The book is an examination of the accounts of God in human form, appearing to men and women centuries before Jesus’ birth,” explains Wiggan.
“The Unrecognized King” goes step-by-step through the Old Testament to dissect the different appearances of God to the ancient Israelites. Wiggan provides the tools for readers to decide between whether each appearance is Jesus, an angel or another entity entirely. As he formed his own opinion from his research, he hopes others will do the same using his book.
Wiggan says, “Even though Judaism and Christianity are generally portrayed as two separate religions, this book breaks down the wall between the two and demonstrates that the God of both religions are the same.”
