MilitaryRecordsData.com is set to go live with new reports that will include a wider variety of military record information, the company announced yesterday.
“When we launched, our goal was to make our reports as easy as possible to understand,” a MilitaryRecordsData.com spokesman said. “That meant we kept the data we provided to a minimum so we didn't confuse anyone. But our customers have requested a much more detailed report. So that's what we're set to give to them.”
The new information in the reports is the result of a post-launch review with the company's customer service staff, he said.
“Our customer service reps are on the front lines of our business, so their post-launch presentation was a real eye-opener for us,” he said. “We had them list the most frequently requested information from their interactions, and that formed the basis of what would be included in the new reports.”
The redesigned reports will now include any medals received, where they received basic training, and the length of service as well as where in the world they have served, he said. There will also be more information regarding any disciplinary action the armed services member experienced while serving.
“Our databases already have the information, so it is not a matter of acquiring the data,” he said. “We simply got our IT team and our graphics team to redesign and populate the reports, and we're proud of the result. And we think our customers will be, too.”
