Mission Inn Resort Looking for 50 "Golden" Couples
Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. (PRWEB) April 03, 2014 -- The Mission Inn Resort & Club, which is celebrating 50 years of continuous family ownership, will honor 50 couples married 50 or more years with a complimentary invitation to renew their vows.
The “Golden Vow Renewal Ceremony” will be held on Sunday, November 23, at Mission Inn, located in Howey-in-the-Hills in central Florida’s rolling hill country.
The resort has been owned and managed by the Beucher family since 1964. Working together as a family in the hospitality business has been very rewarding to the Beuchers, and they plan to celebrate the golden occasion and its lifetime of memories by inviting 50 couples also toasting the 50-plus year mark. Fifty lucky couples will be selected by submitting a simple application, which may be found online at http://www.missioninnresort.com/gvrc.
“With three generations of our family involved in the hospitality business, 50 years have produced for us and our guests quite literally a lifetime of memories to reminisce,” said Bud Beucher, Mission Inn Resort’s vice president and general manager. “We want a unique way to reflect on our half century of ownership and management and believe the Golden Vow Renewal Ceremony is the perfect way to celebrate and personally show our appreciation.”
Sunday morning’s Golden event will begin with a Vow Renewal Ceremony in the resorts’ embracing La Fontana Courtyard. A treat for all invited guests, special activities will include commemorative photos, a champagne toast, a rose petal drop, and Sunday Brunch at La Hacienda for $31.99 per person. Very special recognition will be given to the oldest couple in attendance and to those who have traveled the greatest distance.
