Columbus Mobile Food Conference and Expo Convenes in Columbus for Second Year
Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) October 18, 2016 -- The Columbus Mobile Food Conference and Expo will take place, Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26, 2017 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Dublin, Ohio. According to Conference Co-organizer Chas Kaplan, "The CMFCE was such a huge success last year and is back this year with new topics and more exhibitors to learn from."
The conference is expected to have over 20 workshops/seminars featuring panelists from all over the region as well as an expo where where attendees can meet with vendors showcasing the newest items and trends in the mobile business industry. Kaplan asserts, "This show will become the premiere mobile food conference and expo in the Midwest."
The conference is aimed not only to those in the industry in Ohio but across the Midwest. "This is a show literally for anyone in the industry that has an interest in mobile business operations," states co-organizer Mike Gallicchio. Workshops will be aimed at mobile food operators or aspiring operators of all kinds including those with food trucks, trailers and carts. As far as audience, this is excellent opportunity to learn but also network with colleagues. Attendees from all segments of the industry including Culinary Professionals, Entrepreneurs, Food Educators and Policy Makers are encouraged to attend.
A new trending topic in the industry (although not food related), Fashion Trucks will also be part of the agenda. Gallicchio continues, "While food is the primary focus, the workshops translate well for mobile operators of all kinds including fashion. And fashion trucks or as some refer to as "mobile boutiques" have been popping up across the country."
Topics covered over the weekend include but are not limited to:
1.) How to acquire the funds to start a mobile operation.
2.) Workshops and seminars on maintaining and growing your mobile food business.
3.) A new track of workshops designed for those interested in retail/boutique trucks.
4.) Seminars on how to work with government agencies and attaining appropriate permits.
5.) There will also be a special separate Food Manager certification course and exam.
