Chris Fawcett, MorganFranklin Consulting IT Audit Manager, Elected Administrative Vice President of ISACA St. Louis Chapter
McLean, VA (PRWEB) June 16, 2014 -- MorganFranklin Consulting, a D.C.-based execution-focused business consulting firm and professional advisor, announced that IT Audit Manager Chris Fawcett has been elected administrative vice president of the ISACA St. Louis Chapter. ISACA, formerly known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, is a worldwide association of information systems governance professionals. As administrative vice president, Fawcett will help lead the 470-member St. Louis Chapter, with the goal of serving enterprises by defining the roles of information systems governance, security, audit, and assurance professionals worldwide.

Fawcett served on the board of directors of the ISACA St. Louis Chapter from 2012 to 2014 as a member of the Volunteer Recruitment/Leadership Development and Nomination committees. He has been a member of the professional organization since 1999 and a member of the St. Louis Chapter since 2007. He is also past president of the ISACA Eastern Iowa Chapter, where he was a member from its inception in 1999 through 2007.
With more than 25 years of experience in IT operations, management, and consulting, Fawcett is a specialist in information technology controls, with particular skills and expertise in controls design and evaluation. He joined MorganFranklin Consulting in 2013 and has been integral to developing the firm’s Information Management & Technology practice in the St. Louis region. Fawcett holds the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) license and has extensive experience evaluating IT controls in support of financial, operational, compliance, management, and governance audits.
