Words cannot capture the extreme honor of being named one of the D.C. area’s top CFOs, and I want to thank the Washington Business Journal and my outstanding team for this great recognition.

The Washington Business Journal has named MorganFranklin Consulting’s Jeff Pagano a winner of the prestigious CFO of the Year Awards in recognition of his outstanding accomplishments spanning day-to-day operational execution, high-quality and timely financial reporting, critical strategy formulation and execution, and intricate deal negotiation over the past 18 months. Pagano, who has served as CFO of the Tysons-based business consulting firm since 2004, was among 13 honorees recognized by the ninth annual awards program that applauds greater Washington’s top financial professionals for outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards.

“Words cannot capture the extreme honor of being named one of the D.C. area’s top CFOs, and I want to thank the Washington Business Journal and my outstanding team for this great recognition,” Pagano said. “MorganFranklin is my second family, and it has been incredibly rewarding to meet new challenges each day and be part of the firm’s evolution for more than a decade. I am humbled to be in the company of such an impressive and accomplished group of honorees—and I am equally eager to see what the future holds for our firm.”

Throughout his tenure, Pagano has been an instrumental partner across numerous areas of MorganFranklin's growth and geographic expansion, acting as a central driver in the company’s recent conversion to a 100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) structure.

“Jeff has been one of our firm's earliest and most constant strategic advisors, acting as CFO throughout critical times in the company's evolution. MorganFranklin’s ESOP was not just a groundbreaking step in our firm’s growth but also an unprecedented move in the D.C. consulting community and a bold decision that redefines what it means to put employees first. With steadfast dedication, passion, and leadership, Jeff has played an integral role in building our firm over the years and charting a new course in consulting as we further invest in our people and long-term growth in the D.C. marketplace and beyond. I cannot think of a more deserving individual for CFO of the Year,” said C.E. Andrews, CEO of MorganFranklin.
