National Association of Professional Women Inducts Meera Kaul, CEO, Optimus, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) September 22, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Meera Kaul as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in technology. At just 17 years old, Ms. Kaul established herself as a successful entrepreneur. While still attending school in India, she started and sold her first business and used the proceeds to pay for her law school education. She realized early on that with hard work, determination and education, she could accomplish just about anything.
For nearly two decades, Ms. Kaul, a Thomas Jefferson Law School and Stanford School of Business alumnae, has spearheaded a number of global business enterprises in three continents. She is Chairperson, Founder and CEO of most of her ventures. Using the leadership and management skills she has honed, she effectively manages the finance, technology, marketing and logistics sides of her businesses.
“Entrepreneurship is not about an idea, it’s about the executions,” said Ms. Kaul, who believes in the importance of being 100% committed to the product or service you offer. One of her strongest passions is empowering other women. She does this through The Meera Kaul Foundation, her nonprofit organization that partners with corporations and individuals from around the world to create entrepreneurial opportunities for women.
