Nancy Assad selected for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Nancy Assad as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

“It gives me great pleasure to present Nancy with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “I applaud her for using her expertise to build a successful business enterprise.”

Introduced to the world of finance at a young age by her father (a self-assured entrepreneur with several commercial properties and various businesses), Ms. Assad has a keen eye for business, and is currently a Senior Wholesale Account Executive with Velocity Commercial Capital, a nationwide company, that is focused on alternative lending options for investors of both non-owner occupied residential and commercial properties. Velocity is a leader in that space, with over 1000 loans funded YTD. Nancy is responsible for the acquisition and development of new business for the company, as well as maintaining relationships with top industry accounts. Her expertise is in pairing mortgage brokers and real estate professionals with the best lending options in order to secure suitable financing.

“I’m in a unique position where I am able to use both the creative and analytical sides of my brain, in a field where I see a direct reward,” said Ms. Assad. “I love that I am able to help people achieve their own financial and life goals.”

Ms. Assad is currently continuing her education at Mount Saint Mary’s College, where she is studying business and finance with plans to receive her real estate broker’s license.
