NAPW Inducts Mitzie Yodites, Executive Director/CEO, Basic Occupational Training Center, Inc., Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) June 22, 2016 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Mitzie Yodites as a 2016-2017 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in office management. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Mitzie Yodites maintains an 18-plus-year career with Basic Occupational Training Center, Inc. She manages all aspects of the center including case management, client acceptance, supervision of employees, marketing and accounting.
Basic Occupational Training Center, Inc., “creates an environment for each consumer to reach his/her maximum potential and desires,” according to its website.
“The consumers we serve are Developmentally Disabled Adults between the ages of 18 and 75 years old,” Ms. Yodites said. “We specialize in working with those who have behavior issues that need managing.”
The center is designed for program participants to partake in activities at the center on a daily basis. “The seven facilities we have are similar to schools,” Ms. Yodites said. “The consumers attend the program Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 2:30.” In addition, the center staff hosts community volunteer activities, including Meals-on-Wheels and working with area churches.
Ms. Yodites completed a grant writing workshop, a management strategies course, is a Licensed Administrator for community care and holds an insurance license in the state of California.
For her commitment to achieving success according to her personal standards of excellence, and for her outstanding accomplishments in enriching her position with her diversified proficiencies, Ms. Yodites is being honored as a leader and role model for her profession.
