National Association of Professional Women Inducts Lana Currance, CEO, Clear View Behavioral Health, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

Lana Currance selected for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession

I’m pleased to recognize Lana with this important honor. Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Lana Currance as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in healthcare NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

“I’m pleased to recognize Lana with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”

Lana Currance was diagnosed with throat cancer at age 15. Her success in winning her battle with the disease left her with a desire to enter the field of nursing. She started as a volunteer EMT, serving a rural community, and went on to nursing school. She obtained her Associate’s degree while working as a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care and Emergency Department and then went on to obtain her Bachelor of Nursing Science, Master of Health Administration and Master of Nursing Science, all from the University of Phoenix.

Now, as CEO of Clear View Behavioral Health, Ms. Currance brings diverse teams together to build a culture that employees want to be part of. Through transformational leadership, she provides an environment that allows others to want to learn, grow and be a part of as they find their way into the healthcare industry.

Since its opening in 2015, Clear View Behavioral Health has grown into a 92-bedhospital that admits patients on a 24 / 7 basis. Patients can receive quality of care from an institution that adheres to good community relations, physician relationships and fiscal responsibility.
