National Association of Professional Women Inducts Dawn S. Kirk, VP Sales / Operations, The Coca-Cola Company, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) January 20, 2016 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Dawn S. Kirk as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in sales. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Beginning her career as an Accounting Intern for Amoco in 1990, Dawn S. Kirk has successfully worked her way up to Vice President for Sales and Operations for the Southeast Region at the Coca-Cola Company.
“I am a value-driven executive with a strong foundation built through critical roles in sales, operations, customer management, finance, marketing and general management,” Ms. Kirk said. “My strengths include developing and inspiring diverse teams, communication and cross-functional leadership.”
As part of her job duties, Ms. Kirk is responsible for a team of 5,000 associates that brings in revenue worth $2.8 billion. As Sales Lead, she is in charge of merchandising and distribution for the entire Southeast region. Her major market areas include Atlanta, New Orleans, Memphis, Orlando and Miami.
Ms. Kirk’s workplace accomplishments have earned her several accolades. She is a recipient of the Black Women’s Expo’s Phenomenal Woman Award for Outstanding Achievement in Corporate, and Women Looking Ahead News Magazine’s 100 List of Georgia’s Most Powerful and Influential Women. She is a member of the League of Black Women, a speaker for the National Sales Network, a member of the National Board for Inclusion of the Network of Executive Women and was appointed to the Coca-Cola Company’s Multicultural Leadership Council.
When not working, Ms. Kirk is an active community volunteer. She is a children’s minister volunteer, leadership class facilitator and oversees the marketplace ministry at Eagle’s Nest Church in Roswell, GA. She is also a member of the social committee for her homeowner’s association and gives leadership seminars in her area.
