Kathryn Schutz selected for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession

I’m pleased to recognize Kathryn with this important honor. Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Kathryn Schutz as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in travel and wellness. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

“I’m pleased to recognize Kathryn with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”

After 25 prosperous years in the financial industry, Kathryn Schutz took the bold leap to entrepreneurship and decided to combine her two passions into one business. She has always had a passion for traveling, as well as health and wellness, and that is where she got the idea of Kathryn Theodore Travel.

“My goal is for my clients to have an incredible vacation, seeing different countries and areas,” she said, “and to experience the culture and local food.”

Ms. Schutz guides people in the right direction to an enjoyable vacation, but also wants them to return home feeling reinvigorated. She recommends detoxing, destressing, disconnecting from the digital world, trying a new exercise and learning how to cook a healthy meal based on the area they visited. She aims for each of her clients to feel positively about themselves physically, emotionally and mentally.

Kathryn Theodore Travel is launching its first group trip in March 2016 to Rancho La Puerta. For a week, her clients will enjoy spa treatments, 60 different activities to choose from each day, cooking classes and educational seminars. Her goal is to have a consortium of health practitioners (ayurveda specialists, yoga and Pilates teachers, personal trainers, nutritionists, etc.) to help her clients achieve a healthier lifestyle.
