With almost 20 years of experience in the area of tax law, Chaya Kundra is justifiably proud of all her achievements. As Managing Partner of Kundra & Associates, her responsibilities include business management, litigation and advisement. Her clients, along with the rest of the firm’s, include businesses, nonprofit entities, entrepreneurs and individuals seeking legal tax and financial counseling.
Ms. Kundra works effectively to solve federal, international and state tax issues. Founded in 1999, Kundra & Associates has grown to become a successful firm. She works aggressively and is an accomplished attorney in the Washington D.C. metro area, as well as Baltimore, MD. Ms. Kundra started her career working in the Office of Financial Enforcement, U.S. Department of Treasury, which is where she focused on money laundering issues and violations of the Bank Secrecy Act.
Throughout her law career, Ms. Kundra has resolved a number of tax audits, controversy matters and structured various business entities. She has consistently focused on tax litigation and tax controversies that affect US individuals and businesses both within and outside the country. She is involved in many organizations such as Green Peace, the National Geographic Society and the American Civil Liberties Union.
