The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Linda M. Iafrate as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in human resources. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local
Chapters.

With 15 years of experiences in the human resources field, Linda M. Iafrate brings an impressive skill set to her current position at United Machining, Inc. Her expertise in talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development and records management, has led to better employee relations and retention for the company.

As part of her job duties, Ms. Iafrate is responsible for coaching and counseling department managers on performance management issues. She drafts employee handbooks, coordinates the performance review process and administers unemployment and workers’ compensation insurance claims.

“My goal is to continue to grow in my field, advance to a leadership role and assist in the growth of my department and the company,” said Ms. Iafrate. In order to better achieve that goal, she has taken on additional roles in her workplace – she is Human Resource Manager and Environmental Health and Safety Specialist.

Ms. Iafrate is a member of the Detroit chapter of Society for Human Resource Management and the American Society of Employers.
