National Association of Professional Women Inducts Joyce Kennedy, Production Supervisor, Fairview Southdale Hospital, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

For more than four decades, Ms. Kennedy honed superb work efficiency and effectiveness through her extensive hands-on experience. Her specialized administrative and technological knowledge allows her to help streamline production within Fairview Southdale Hospital to ensure that all resources are prioritized toward dispensing the highest quality of patient care. She has built her reputation as an outstanding manager and leader.
As a Supervisor at Fairview Southdale Hospital since 1982, Ms. Kennedy’s responsibilities include overseeing the PM cook area, the PM trayline and writing employee evaluations. Her proficiency in data input, such as Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, is crucial in facilitating in-house administrative operations. In addition to her duties, she is associated with the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals.
Her leadership in management as well as her perseverance and determination have made Ms. Kennedy a role model to those she works with. “I am drawn to and passionate about charitable organizations such as the United Way, Fairview Southdale Foundations, Pro Life Across America and the Pregnancy Resource Center in Cambridge, MN,” she said. Her hobbies and interests include reading and spending time with her family.
