NAPW Inducts Renee Harrison Berry, Partner, Armstrong Thomas Berry Lampton & McCardle, PLLC, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) August 25, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Renee Harrison Berry as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in law. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to welcome Renee into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “She is a great example of how education and passion can lead to new pathways to success.”
Inspired by her late husband, Renee Harrison Berry was encouraged to go back to school to obtain her law degree. For that, she is eternally grateful. She has had a better career because of it, and her degree allows her to independently provide for their children after her husband passed less than two years after she graduated.
Now, as Partner at Armstrong Thomas Berry Lampton & McCardle, PLLC, Mrs. Berry has been a licensed practicing Attorney for 14 years. She is the Technology Officer at her firm and has excellent writing and analysis skills. She was awarded the Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award in 2006 by Mission First Legal Aid Society in Jackson, MS.
Mrs. Berry is also a Public Defender in Copiah County, working in the circuit and youth courts. She is kept busy with domestic and family cases and enjoys being able to provide assistance to people who are in need of legal services. She is active in her church and childrens' school, serving on various boards and committees at both. In the future, Mrs. Berry hopes to serve as a judge in one of the local courts.
