I’m pleased to recognize Sharyn with this important honor. Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Sharyn Wilding as a 2015-2016 inductee into the NAPW VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in education. With more than 775,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters, NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women.

As Executive Director and Owner of Humpty Dumpty Day School in Arlington, TX, Sharyn Wilding is committed to building a workforce and workplace that is human to the core and enriches the quality of life and education in her hometown. The teachers, students, parents and staff are all united in their concern about a child’s emotional and academic development.

At Humpty Dumpty Day School, the educational programs are based on a child’s intellectual needs. The school has been open since 1959 and Ms. Wilding has been personally involved for 35 years. She likes to make sure the students all have relationships with all the teachers, therefore she cross trains the teachers and rotates them from class to class. The day school ranges from infants and toddlers to Pre-K and school-age children for after-school programs.

Ms. Wilding ensures the day school continues to be a family oriented and comfortable atmosphere for students, as well as the staff and parents. To this end, she prides herself on her expertise in establishing programs to motivate staff and implementing operations to assure the social, emotional and intellectual development of children.
