Garden City, NY (PRWEB) July 11, 2013 -- Members and guests of the NAPW Springfield, MO Local Chapter gathered on June 26th for a professional networking luncheon at Houlihan’s on Republic Road in Springfield.
The group of professional women networked and discussed the exclusive marketing and educational tools for career advancement that are available to members such as Member Podcasts, the Resource Center, seminars, webinars and more.
Sherri Bollinger, CIT, Springfield Local Chapter President, kicked off the June meeting by welcoming everyone.
She reviewed the Springfield Chapter meeting agenda and asked attendees to introduce themselves and share information about their careers.
Attendees also welcomed the newest member and the President gave her a welcome folder that included details about exciting benefits and information on upcoming events.
“After an exchange of business cards, the group discussed how NAPW marketing and educational tools could contribute to the advancement of their professional career development,” said Chapter President Sherri Bollinger. “For example, NAPW’s collection of podcasts is geared towards professional women with a variety of interests.”
The President shared with the group the latest Member Podcasts. The collection includes topics such as Business, Education, Entrepreneurial, For Women, Health, Interviews, Media, Money, On-Line Marketing, Real Estate, Spiritual Growth, Women’s Leadership and Career Development.

President Sherri Bollinger distributed an example of a New Business Checklist that is helpful in determining specific requirements for new business ventures.
“The NAPW Business Resource Center serves as an excellent one-stop source to organize, manage and guide members toward business ownership,” President Bollinger said.
The Chapter President also reviewed with the group the exciting Perks available for summer time fun and travel. The PerkSpot Travel Center, powered by ORBITZ, offers a one stop shop for all travel needs.
