National Association of Professional Women Announces Patricia Schram, B.A., M.L.S., PMP, CSDP, IT Project and Program Management Consultant, VIP Woman of the Year
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) September 10, 2013 -- Patricia Schram, B.A., M.L.S., PMP, CSDP is an IT Project and Program Management Consultant. Ms. Schram has attained the highest level of membership to the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) as a VIP Woman of the Year and has been recognized for outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession.
Ms. Schram has nearly 30 years experience as a certified information technology software systems engineer and project/program manager. She has worked in both federal and commercial environments, providing expert leadership and management of full life cycle design, development and deployment of information systems. Ms. Schram holds a DoD Secret security clearance. She is a PMP (Project Management Professional) and a CSDP (Certified Software Development Professional).
It was while obtaining her Master of Library and Information Services and working with database design that Ms. Schram first became interested in the field of information technology. Upon graduation, she took a position with EDS as a systems engineer and went on to become a systems engineering manager and consultant, as well as an account manager. After her tenure at EDS, Ms. Schram moved on to The MITRE Corp., an operator of nonprofit federally funded research and development centers. Among her key roles at MITRE was division chief engineer/senior principal information systems engineer. Now, working as an independent consultant, Ms. Schram is looking forward to reentering the corporate world on a full-time basis.
