Nine Automotive Dealership Managers Complete NCM® Institute’s GMEP Dealer Development Program in June
Overland Park, Kansas (PRWEB) July 18, 2013 -- NCM Associates recently concluded its third round of General Management Executive Program classes and rewarded the nine graduating dealership managers with their certificates of completion at a dinner reception in June. “We’re extremely honored to have played a part in the professional development of these nine impressive managers,” said NCM CEO and President, Paul Faletti Jr. “As a result of completing our most rigorous academic program through the NCM Institute, I am certain they will not only be more effective managers, they will confidently lead their operations toward a more profitable and sustainable future in this great industry.”
Chris Justice, Director of Variable Operations for Classic Suzuki of Birmingham, is one of the latest graduates of the NCM Institute’s General Management Executive Program. He praised the comprehensive dealer development program, which involves six, 2½-day classroom sessions over 11 months. “For me, the class was challenging, but very rewarding. The ‘Guarantee of Action,’ our interim assignments, became blueprints to implement new processes,” he said. Justice added that while the coursework was challenging, it was also timely and practical. “It’s amazing how much ‘usable’ knowledge they pack into this course. It’s like earning a Master’s degree in Dealership General Management. Not only has it made me a better operator, it has made me a better leader.”
Another graduate, Kevin Christ, President of Worl Thompson Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Caldwell, Ohio, made note of how the NCM Institute embraces and challenges its students to apply the information directly to their businesses. “The NCM community has educated me to implement proper process improvement strategies to help our growing business needs. The staff at NCM is friendly and knowledgeable and, more importantly, went out of their way to engage me in my business. NCM processes are without a doubt the only way to run a successful automobile dealership.”
The General Management Executive Program is designed to equip current and future automotive dealership executives for long-term success in retail automotive management. With emphasis in dealership financial and operational best practices, the program’s objective is to build a solid executive leadership foundation in order to strengthen dealership operating performance today, and sustain the long-term viability of the retail auto industry. The curriculum focus is comprehensive, intensive and designed to give the students the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully manage a dealership, balancing the volatility of the industry with the many operational decisions that drive the profitability of their dealerships.
NCM Institute is a well-established training partner to retail automotive dealers, having trained over 2,000 dealership managers, executives and dealer principals since its inception in early 2010. NCMi® is unique in that it uses a combination of dedicated instructors and visiting faculty from its Retail Operations Consulting and 20 Groups divisions to teach the management and leadership best practices used in some of the nation’s leading automotive dealerships.
