According to the police report, said NBC News, both drivers had the green light, but Sugar Bear said that the truck’s lights were off, so he didn't see it coming. The truck driver said his lights were on an automatic setting. Authorities were unable to determine whether the truck’s lights were on or off at the time of the accident. When they arrived on the scene, the vehicles were parked.
In the car with Sugar Bear were Alana, Mama June, and sisters Pumpkin and Chubbs. No serious injuries were reported, NBC News said.
