Nancy Loss’ New Book Encourages Readers to Reflect
NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (PRWEB) August 17, 2013 -- In her new book “Life Is How You Look at It” (published by WestBow Press) author Nancy Loss encourages her readers to look back upon “their own life lessons and lucky charms” to explore more fully the reason they are here.
“I think some of my favorite ‘faith-first’ moments came from revisiting my own treasured fifth grade project on the life of Helen Keller,” shares Loss, who completed the grade-school project at the impressionable age of 10. “Here, I saw that we all have what it takes to become Miracle Workers, having been born with both the gifts and gusto to leave an imprint on this Earth.”
In “Life Is How You Look at It,” Loss presents others’ tapestry-threaded stories with some thought-provoking questions – a journey meant to show readers that they are only as limited as they allow themselves to be.
Moreover, by enlightening her readers to gratefully ponder each person, place or passage that has purposely crossed their paths, Loss hopes to mirror by example that life is less about looking backwards and more about learning to heal. “After all,” she states, “we are all ‘survivors’ of something, but still standing is no small thing!”
Lastly, this first-time author aims to illuminate for her audience that, “If the Lord prunes you for your higher purpose, He provides both the rock and the roadmap as well. As whenever I humbly put in all the elbow grease amidst casting my cares and practicing courage, God puts the icing on the cake!”
