While the honor reflects our bottom line growth the level of craftsmanship and skill of our people and partners is the reason we made the Top 100 list.

This week, New Energy Works Timberframers were recognized by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and KPMG LLP as one of the region’s fastest growing privately held companies. The company achieved substantial growth in 2015 gaining them a ranking of #71 on the 2016 list. The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and KPMG LLP ranks business based upon both dollar and percentage revenue growth.

“While the honor reflects our bottom line growth, we believe the fact that we make structures that matter, in as environmentally and socially responsible way as possible, attracts the area’s most enthusiastic, talented, smart people to work with us. Our people and partners are the reason we made the Top 100 list,” comments Eric Fraser, General Manager of New Energy Works.

After a strong year with continued revenue and personnel growth, the company achieved the 71st ranking for 2016. They continue in their mission to offer thoughtful and highly crafted timber frame projects across the nation. Heavy timber construction is popular in the residential, commercial, and retail markets creating growth recognized by the Rochester Top 100.

To be eligible for the Rochester Top 100, businesses must be independent, privately held, headquartered in the nine-county Rochester region, and have revenue of at least $1 million in each of the three most recent fiscal years. The program recognizes Rochester’s reputation as a region of innovation spurred by a strong entrepreneurial spirit. The 2016 Rochester Top 100 companies combined for over $10 billion in revenue and employed nearly 100,000 people in the last fiscal year.

The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce is the chamber of commerce for the nine-county Rochester region, which includes Monroe, Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates counties. As an organization, the RBA provides connections to the people, information, and expertise businesses need to grow. This is often done through advocacy, human resource services, and networking opportunities.

New Energy Works designs and builds environmentally responsible timber frames across the USA from their New York and Oregon facilities. The company offers Timber Framing (design, engineering, manufacturing, build), Enclosure Systems, Fine Woodworking, Recycled and Sustainable wood products. New Energy Works has LEED AP staff members, is a member of the US Green Building Council, and is FSC Certified.
