The Novo Group, a recruiting solutions company headquartered in Milwaukee, announced today that it has joined forces with inVantage, a Milwaukee HR consulting firm started recently by Kelly Renz. Renz was named President and CEO of the combined company which will operate as the Novo Group.
“Novo has been delivering talent acquisition solutions to companies since 2003. As we move forward Kelly Renz brings us outstanding HR, recruiting and leadership skills and she will help us to expand the solutions we offer our clients,” said Mike Harris, Chairman and founder of Novo. “Kelly was just getting started building inVantage and I am pleased we could combine operations now and bring her energy, network and experience to Novo.”
Before starting inVantage in 2015, Renz was the VP Organizational Effectiveness for CoreLogic and the Chief Human Resources Officer for Decision Insight Information Group/Marshall & Swift/Boeckh before it was acquired by CoreLogic in 2014. She also held executive and HR leadership roles with CIELO, AQS, Clifton Gunderson and Target. She is a graduate of UW-Milwaukee and has a Masters of Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. Renz has extensive experience with international recruiting, RPO models, recruitment strategy, talent planning and recruitment systems and tools. “Kelly has an excellent background to lead Novo as she has built and delivered on major recruitment efforts around the globe for some leading organizations,” added Harris.
“I have long admired Novo and the way they help companies to find and hire the best talent, while working with their clients in a true business partner fashion. It is an honor to take the helm of this long standing Milwaukee-based company and I look forward to bringing a fresh set of eyes to expanding Novo’s solution set,” said Renz. “I have been a client of the Novo Group many times and I saw firsthand what a better and more flexible recruiting model they offer the marketplace. I understand the challenges in today’s employment market and look forward to helping companies win the war on talent with innovative solutions and services.”
Renz believes the core business of Novo will remain rooted in talent acquisition but she plans to introduce other ways to help Novo clients including consulting and advising on recruitment strategy, employment branding, onboarding and development of talent once they are hired into the company. “I believe Novo is poised to aggressively grow its services across the realm of what it takes to acquire and retain the best talent, and I look forward to building the Novo brand into a national powerhouse.”
