Angelic Bakehouse Expands to Ohio Region at Heinen's Grocery Store and Whole Foods Market
Cudahy, Wisconsin (PRWEB) July 01, 2014 -- Angelic Bakehouse, a leading producer of sprouted whole grain breads, buns, flatbreads and pizza crusts, is pleased to announce that its sprouted products are now available at all 19 Heinen’s Grocery Store locations throughout Ohio and Illinois.
Heinen’s Grocery Store will be carrying 10 SKUs of Angelic Bakehouse sprouted products, including several varieties of bread, buns, and Flatzza™ crusts. In addition to Heinen’s, Angelic will also be adding six of its SKUs at eight Whole Foods Market locations throughout Ohio and Kentucky. “We are thrilled to be expanding our distribution within these two leading retailers, and are excited to provide the Ohio Marketplace with great quality, sprouted whole grain products,” says Angelic Bakehouse CEO Jenny Marino.
In addition to Whole Foods, Heinen’s 19 locations in Ohio and Illinois join a fast-growing list of well-known grocers to carry the Angelic line, including Sprouts Farmers Market, Mariano’s and Lunds Byerly’s. “There’s a growing demand for products like ours,” says Marino. “Angelic offers what consumers are looking for – great-tasting, better-for-you products with clean and simple ingredients – and stores are not only taking notice, they’re taking action.”
Sprouted whole grain products have seen a quick increase in popularity with both mainstream and health-conscious consumers due to superior nutritional benefits, a low glycemic index, higher protein values and ease of digestion relative to products made with traditional flour. In anticipation of this growing demand, Angelic Bakehouse moved into a new 22,000 sq. ft.
