SSG Welcomes New BRM Developer Team
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) June 26, 2014 -- Dallas-based professional software services company, SSG, today announces the additions of Randal Blackmon, Jessica Boepple, Daniel Cave, Shaun Hairelson, Travis Neeley and Jennifer Streett as software developers, as well as Timothy Depew as senior software developer, for the company’s billing and revenue management practice.
“We are excited to have an outstanding new cohort of talented college graduates from top university computer engineering/science programs join us as we continue our next wave of expansion,” Jon Davis, managing director for SSG’s billing and revenue management practice, said. “We view having the best and the brightest becoming a part of SSG as an indicator of our leadership and growth potential as a premier provider of professional software services.”
In his new role as senior software developer, Depew will guide the customization and deployment of Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), the most advanced real-time billing system in use by leading technology companies today to deliver voice, data, video and content services across wireless, cable and satellite networks. He will manage and mentor team members as they develop, test and implement customized BRM product, pricing, rating and billing functionality. Additionally, Depew’s in-depth knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) will be utilized to integrate BRM with other core applications throughout the corporate enterprise using an array of Web Services technologies.
Depew holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Stephen F. Austin University. As an application architect, independent consultant and former Oracle senior solutions architect, he leverages 12 years of experience with Oracle BRM and Portal Infranet, as well as seven years of billing architecture experience.
Following an extensive internal training program that is part of the highly acclaimed SSG University curriculum, Blackmon, Boepple, Cave, Hairelson, Neeley and Streett will leverage newfound skills in SSG’s best practices and development methodologies to perform complex enterprise software integrations utilizing the Oracle BRM platform. As software developers, their responsibilities will cover the entire spectrum of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including project discovery, scoping, solution design, code development, unit/integration testing and production implementation. Through the use of advanced Agile tools and cutting-edge application frameworks, the developers will collaborate and rapidly co-create robust enterprise software solutions.
Blackmon holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, and has entrepreneurial experience as an eBay PowerSeller.
In her former role at NCR Corporation, Boepple worked as a product management analyst where she worked to improve user experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in cognitive science with a concentration in human-computer interactions from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Cave holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of North Texas, and leverages skills as a former data management analyst at PepsiCo BIS.
Hairelson brings agile experience from his software engineering internship at IEX (Nice Systems). He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of North Texas.
Neeley holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Sam Houston State University. In addition, he earned his master’s degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University.
Street holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and brings experience from her previous position as assistant sales manager at Great American Cookies.
“Our training innovations and a unique ability to nurture superlative software excellence has accelerated the demand for our services and led us to make additional investments in dynamically growing our team,” Davis said. “We are fortunate to have such a high caliber of enlightened and engaged individuals join our group as we continue on our mission to be our clients’ most respected and trusted adviser.”
