Westfield Citrus Park is the kind of shopping center that “wows” people upon entry, says David Hibberd, General Manager.

“Anybody who comes here is impressed by the center,” he says. “The whole concept is that of a main street setting inside. Our center is two stories tall but only the first floor offers shopping. It’s like walking down Main Street and the upper level looks like apartment dwellings. People fall in love immediately.”

As part of the Westfield brand, which has a family program called WFamily, Westfield Citrus Park knows how to cater to the community’s families, who make up 58% of the center’s demographic. One year ago, the center installed its second PLAYTIME play area and, recently, retailers reported a boost in traffic.

“The new mall playground definitely helped drive traffic to our kids retail area,” says Hibberd. “We also opened two new retailers near the play area, so the whole kids’ district got a big boost.”
