P-Nuckle has firmly established their status as one of underground reggae's most sought-after bands, playing more than a thousand shows all across the country alongside Slightly Stoopid, The Expendables and John Brown's Body. With their innovative fifth studio album, The System, they are boldly pushing reggae and dub into new territory by "changing the rules to how Reggae and Electronic Music Dance together.

From the deep pulsing electronic bass of the first track, “Roots Operator,” it is clear that The System is going to be a truly game-changing record. Grooving dance-able tracks like “Undercover” (featuring Refrence and Squidly Cole) and “Dirty Boy” turn up the mellow vibes and strong hooks. Hard hitting politically-conscious tracks like “Bridges Burned” (featuring Ded Res) also give a great sense of urgency to the record. Universal messages of love, unity, and resisting oppression run strong throughout The System, and the album's edgy modern production drive the message home in a way that's undeniably catchy and powerful.

Reviewers like Dave Herra of Westword Music praise, "The substantive musical and lyrical progression that began with 2009's Stand Up continues seamlessly on The System... continuing to refine the act's reggae, dub-heavy sound. The System... flirts favorably with dubstep on tracks like "Roots Operator," and boasts a mature, smooth and cohesive sound that recalls outfits like Inner Circle." Listen to the crossover hit album, The System, today and discover the new energy that's about to change the future of Reggae.
