We created our “Patients Living With” infographics series to underscore the value of collecting the kind of patient data you won’t find in electronic health records.

AltaVoice℠ (formerly PatientCrossroads) announced it has launched its new website which includes a series of “Patients Living With” infographics covering a variety of diseases. The home page features two diseases and a link that makes it possible to explore the disease directory in alphabetical order.

Site visitors may select a topic of interest and enter their contact information to view several informative infographics. The home page of the site currently features Patients Living with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) and Adrenal Insufficiency. These graphics tell a story from the onset of symptoms to time of diagnosis through treatment. They are designed to help researchers understand the size of the patient population and current age and gender of the members of the Patient Insights Networks for each disease.

As part of its recent name change from PatientCrossroads to AltaVoice, the company coined the term “Patient Insights Network℠” to describe what distinguishes its online patient-centered approach from traditional clinician-centered and paper-based registries. AltaVoice PINs enable organizations to more efficiently build engaged, research-ready patient communities, recruit for trials, educate, and follow patients. Via its Patient Insights Network, AltaVoice works to raise the collective voices of patients and bring greater understanding of disease to people who can focus their research and investment on finding new and better treatments.

“We believe that sharing de-identified patient data when possible can jumpstart research and help find faster cures,” said Kyle Brown, CEO of AltaVoice. “We created our “Patients Living With” infographics series to underscore the value of collecting the kind of patient data you won’t find in electronic health records.” Brown reiterated that the new name, announced last week, aligns with its Mission: Amplifying the voice of patients to optimize the search for better treatments for disease.

We build and host Patient Insights Networks℠ (PINs). AltaVoice serves as a trusted intermediary, connecting patients, advocacy organizations, clinicians, researchers and drug developers for the benefit of all. We deliver patient insights faster, and for far less, than traditional registries and CRO organizations.
