The buyer, David Pearson along with his wife Mrs. Debby Pearson, purchased their first Harley-Davidson dealership in 2008 when they acquired Green Mountain Harley-Davidson of Essex Junction, Vermont. David Pearson grew up in Canada, before moving to the US at 18-years-old. His wife, Debby was born in Flint, Michigan though grew up in California. As a second generation rider, she received her first bike from her parents when only 9-years-old. David and Debby met in Colorado while Debby was in the mortgage business and David was in the retail banking industry. After marriage, David became a financial and managerial consultant in the motorcycle industry. When the opportunity presented itself to become a Harley-Davidson dealership owner, they “traded the Rocky Mountains for the Green Mountains,” as Debby states.
