Pagosa Springs, CO (PRWEB) May 27, 2014 -- Looking for things to do in Pagosa Springs Colorado in the summer? Look no further than Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts – a performing arts center offering year-round live entertainment for Pagosa Springs and the surrounding Four Corners region.
Thingamajig Theatre Company and Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts are happy to announce their 2014 Summer Season, bringing professional theatre to the Four Corners region in Colorado.
“This year, we’re offering four very big Broadway favorites in repertory all summer long,” said Tim Moore, Producing Artistic Director and Director of Thingamajig Theatre Company. “Once again, we’ve rented original props and costumes and brought in national talent to perform. It’s a very rigorous production schedule, but the results are always outstanding. Audiences are in for a real treat at a great price.”
Their 2014 Summer Season includes the following four performances:
Beauty and the Beast (June 13 – August 24, 2014)
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (June 26 – August 20, 2014)
Les Misérables (July 5 – August 9, 2014)
A Chorus Line (July 17 – August 22, 2014)

Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts is proud to offer theatre and other performing arts in the Pagosa Springs community for many reasons.
“The sense of community that arises in any town, but particularly a small town like Pagosa Springs, by the presence of an Arts Center and Theatre is astounding,” said Tim Moore. “Often those individuals use the Arts Center and Theatre events as a place to gather and get together – bars and pubs don’t hold the same appeal. We’re so pleased to have the patrons we do in Pagosa Springs. The best part is, we see new faces at each event and those folks then get a chance to meet and gather with new-found friends thereafter. It’s a strong community asset that we’re proud to have been a part of establishing.”
Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts’ mission is to present professional theater created for the entertainment and enrichment of the diverse Pagosa Springs, CO, community. Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts offers performing arts from dance recitals and concerts that range from Oprah and world music to jazz and bluegrass, popular musicals and dramas, children’s theater camps and art gallery exhibits.
“Donor support allows Thingamajig Theatre’s artistic and community programs to thrive. As registered a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, our work is only possible because of donors,” said Tim Moore. “We’ve been very fortunate to come into this small community and be widely accepted by the local population so quickly and with such love. Never could we imagine such a reception possible in such a small amount of time. It’s all been a whirlwind, but we’re incredibly grateful for the support.”
