Author Perry Haupt points to the Bible as the age-old recipe for true success and happy, joyous living among all people in his new book, “Trashing the Bible: Ancestral Development of America Based on the Bible” (published by AuthorHouse). The title comes from Haupt’s belief that society as a whole has “trashed the Bible” or thrown it away rather than using it for what it was intended: as a means of guidance for the proper way to live.
“The future of America as we knew it is at stake,” Haupt says. “America and its churches are failing because we have forgotten to live by biblical standards.”
Haupt provides readers with biblical history, showing what he says God intended for humanity as His creation. He explains that choosing to live the good life without following God’s Word has led to monumental problems in the U.S. and the world today.
“God perfectly designed his creation for all people to live by the Bible and not by man's desires,” Haupt says. “Without living on the firm foundation of the Bible, we are moving forward on unstable ground.”
Haupt hopes to reach readers who recognize the many problems in their lives and are searching for the truth.
An excerpt from “Trashing the Bible”:
“As a nation we have been systematically turning our backs on God. No longer can we say ‘We are walking with God’ as he asked us to do in our scriptures.”
