PetPace Multi-Patient View Enables More Efficient, Non-Invasive Inpatient Monitoring

Centralized monitoring displays, common in people hospitals, rarely exist in veterinary hospitals. Patient data is typically displayed on handwritten sheets on the cage door of each individual patient or on their medical records. PetPace revolutionized veterinary inpatient monitoring with the PetPace smart collar, which remotely and continuously collects vital signs on patients. Now that revolution continues with PetPace near real-time pet monitoring data displayed on one central, easy-to-customize screen.
Available now for PetPace Professional accounts, the multi-patient mode allows display of monitoring data from up to six patients simultaneously. Caregivers can custom-define timeframe and type of data to be displayed – temperature, pulse, respiration, activity, and HRV. Data is automatically refreshed every two minutes.
Already in use in veterinary hospitals in the US, Canada and UK, the new PetPace functionality enables clinical caregivers to keep closer watch on their patients by placing a monitor in a central location, typically the treatment area, where alerts can be quickly seen and heard by staff members.
