American Parks Company Delivers on Tall Order for Playground Equipment for A.W. Brown - Fellowship Leadership Academy
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) November 30, 2015 -- The American Parks Company was excited to partner up with the A.W. Brown - Fellowship Leadership Academy, in Dallas, Texas, to provide and install new commercial playground equipment for their educational facilities. The school now has two brand new playgrounds for their elementary and intermediate students.
The A.W. Brown - Fellowship Leadership Academy is a public charter school for kindergarten through eighth graders serving Southwest Dallas. Their mission is to produce smart, effective, efficient, disciplined students by creating an environment in which teachers feel safe and free to teach and students feel safe and motivated to learn. The school's vision is to provide a learning environment in which children are trained, prepared and equipped for life leadership and academic excellence.
With their partnership with American Parks Company, the leadership academy was able to purchase two new playground structures that will provide an environment where students can safely learn through play. The elementary playground features a Busy Bee play structure, commercial swing set, and spring rider. The Busy Bee offers educational development for children ages 2-5 with a gear panel and play wheel that demonstrate mechanics. The ground-level store front panel also offers a socially developmental experience where children of all abilities can gather to engage in imaginative play. The playground is also physically engaging with a ladder and two slides.
For the intermediate school playground, the Play Galaxy presents graduated physical challenges for all comfort levels with six different climbing activities. The Swoop and Tri-rung monkey bars exercise upper body muscles, while the rest of the climbing structures offer a rigorous climbing and crawling obstacle course for a full-body workout.
The Play Galaxy also has seven activity panels that contribute to the overall development of the students. The Telescope and Moon Phase Panels engage minds toward astronomy, the Gear Panel and Hand Pedalers demonstrate mechanics, and the Maze Panel strengthens memory and problem-solving skills. The Bubble Panel and five various slides provide an entertaining opportunity for social play, too. In addition to these features, two large shade structures block the playground and students from harmful UV light.
