Greg Adler Wins Pro 4 Main Event at LOORRS Glen Helen
Compton, CA (PRWEB) August 02, 2013 -- Prominent manufacturer of tires, wheels and suspension for the off-road industry, Pro Comp, sponsors the truck that Greg Adler raced to victory in the Pro 4 Main at last weekend’s Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS). Glen Helen, California was the site of the Pro 4 Unlimited trucks race where Adler triumphed in a field of 11 trucks with a total time of 18:40.315. Rob Maccachren proved to be the biggest challenger in last Saturday night’s race, pushing Adler to capture the first Pro 4 victory of his racing career.

After the Opening Ceremonies, Kyle LeDuc’s truck took the early lead in the Pro 4 event. Adler’s #10 Pro Comp/4 Wheel Parts Ford managed to motor to fifth place and soon moved up to third. After LeDuc replaced a flat tire, his truck rejoined the race, but seemed compromised. Toward the end, Rob MacCachren took the lead with Adler in his rearview. With their sights on the white flag, the two racers pushed each other on until Adler was able to wrestle the lead and hold on for the victory.
Adler has raced the LOORRS season in Pro 2 and Pro 4 groups on Pro Comp Xtreme MT2 tires. “To win races, you have to have tough tires that hook,” he says. These tires feature the Xtreme MT2 name in Pro Comp’s trademark bright blue and are engineered to tackle the unforgiving environment of short course off-road racing. The La Paz wheels he runs are built for race-spec and the company has a range of consumer wheels based on their design.
