PropertyRecord.com Overhauls Site To Make Search System Easier
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 20, 2014 -- PropertyRecord.com is launching a new site design to improve the experience of users looking up public real estate documents, the company said yesterday.
“We reached out to our current customers and got them to talk about what they liked and didn't like about our current search system,” a PropertyRecord.com spokesman said. “What we found was that most people wanted a more streamlined search system that took them less time and effort to use. So, we went back to the drawing board to see what we could do to improve the process. We are very proud of the results.”
Under the new site structure, people will have to answer fewer questions and go through fewer pages in order to get access to their reports, he said.
“We found that we were able to eliminate a few steps of the process without reducing accuracy,” he said. “That will help. We also found that by rephrasing certain questions, we were able to make things easier for consumers in general.”
PropertyRecord.com spent two weeks split-testing the new site structure against the existing site structure to see how consumers would respond, he said.
“We found that the vast majority of users preferred the new system,” he said. “That's when we decided to switch over to it permanently and make this announcement. We think it will be a better system for both our site and our customers.”
