Reaching Out to Customers Who Think They Have Been Scammed

Company will offer support for any customer who mistakenly thinks they were scammed.

News Image said they hope that some customers will come to them with their questions and concerns. is starting a major customer service initiative to actively search out and help any customers who think they may have been scammed, the company announced yesterday.

“It has come to our attention that a minor technical glitch that happened several weeks ago led some customers to think they were scammed by us,” a spokesman said. “These customers did not come to us. Instead they posted online that they thought they were scammed. We are now finding these people, contacting them, and sorting out the issues that resulted from this glitch.”

The glitch caused some reports to come up blank, and other times caused the system to look for records that didn't exist. It was discovered and fixed within 48 hours, the company said.

“Most people simply contacted us directly ,and we were able to explain to them that they were not scammed and help them get access to the records they needed,” the spokesman said. “But in this day and age not every customer will come to you. Sometimes you have to reach out to the customers themselves.” said they hope that some customers will come to them with their questions and concerns.

“We are not in the business of letting people feel like they were scammed,” he said. “Whenever you run a technology-based company, technical glitches will happen from time to time. In this case, we are being as proactive as possible to help people understand they were not scammed.”
