PropertyValueLookup.com is launching a new initiative to reduce the reasons why customers may have a complaint with their service, the company said yesterday.
“Making sure that very few customers have a reason to have a complaint is our top priority,” a PropertyValueLookup.com spokesman said. “We've seen the number of complaints go down over the past few months, but we still think we can do better. Even one customer complaint is one too much.”
The main thrust of the anti-complaint initiative will be updating the site so that it is easier to use and less confusing for consumers, he said.
“There are a couple of pages that make sense to us, but seem to generate the vast majority of customer complaints,” he said. “By streamlining these pages, we think that we will dramatically reduce the number of complaint calls we get into our switchboard.”
The PropertyValueLookup.com search system will also be speeded up, he said.
“One reason people call with a complaint is that they think we have not provided their reports,” he said. “What's really happened is that it was taking a few minutes for people with slower Internet connections to download their reports. We've made some technical changes to our database that will now allow these people to have faster access to the real estate information they are looking for.”
PropertyValueLookup.com will evaluate the changes for the next month and then release information about the results, he said.
“We hope to be able to say that fewer customers have had a complaint,” he said.
