PropertyValueSource.com Tweaking Site and Search Service to Improve Performance
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 11, 2014 -- PropertyValueSource.com has completed a post-launch review of their site and is now going to make several major software updates to improve their public document search service, the company said yesterday.
“Every launch has some problems,” a PropertyValueSource.com spokesman said. “You'll never know how your site is going to perform until it is out in the wild and real people are using it. We've done a review of our launch response and found there are some issues we need to fix, so we are going to fix them right away. We want our site to run as smoothly as possible.”
The initial improvements will be to solve some glitches that turned up when people were downloading their real estate reports, he said.
“Some people were having trouble getting their reports to come up on some older browsers, so we are making fixing that our priority,” he said. “We didn't realize that many people don't update their browsers on a regular basis.”
The second upgrade will be to the search system itself, he said.
“It was taking a couple of minutes for reports to load, and that made some people think they were not getting their reports at all,” he said. “They were clicking to another site before the report was ready. So now we are making the search system much, much faster.”
The improvements should be completed in the next two to three weeks, he said.
