Prudential PenFed Realty announced today that Rennie Chan recently joined its Alexandria, VA office located at 300 North Washington St., Suite 100. Prior to joining Prudential PenFed Realty, Chan worked as a corporate relocation specialist for several years, which has afforded him the opportunity to further hone his skills in a highly transient real estate market.

Chan’s robust work history shows his flexibility and dedication to a strong work ethic that has allowed him to develop skills that are necessary to be successful in real estate. As a district manager with AT&T, Chan was in charge of business planning and being a client advocate. Through his extensive experiences helping business start-ups get off the ground, he has learned the importance of listening and treating his clients with patience and respect.
Chan’s career transitioned into being a REALTOR® in 2008. He quickly recognized that the real estate industry was in transition, and that technology, and rapid information availability was changing customer attitudes towards REALTORS®. He has learned to embrace and learn concepts such as search engine optimization, meta tags, keywords, and QR codes as part of his evolution as a real estate professional.
Chan has a BSBA in Business Administration from Thomas Edison State College and his EMBA, Executive MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Chan is also a Certified Distress Property Expert (CDPE), Certified Investor Agent Specialist (CIAS), new construction expert, and volunteers in the community and local church organizations.
