Thanks to our partnership with Cross River Fiber, we are expanding the RCN footprint to offer high quality services throughout the northeast. Cross River Fiber’s dense network also gives us access to a variety of data centers in New Jersey.

RCN Business, a communications provider delivering network solutions for data, voice and video, announces today that it will broaden its service area into New Jersey through its partnership with Cross River Fiber, a New Jersey-based fiber optic and telecommunications solutions provider. The companies announced their intent to work together in December, with the goal of expanding RCN Business’ voice and data solutions, along with access into key data centers in New Jersey.

Agents now have the ability to sell RCN Business’ portfolio of world-class communications products and services to their customers in New Jersey. Cross River Fiber boasts a dense fiber network throughout its footprint. RCN Business agents will have the ability to sell Ethernet services up to 10Gbps and voice products, including next-generation Hosted Voice and Business Trunks, to companies over Cross River Fiber’s state-of-the-art Ethernet network. The relationship also provides access into key data centers in New Jersey, including facilities operated by Digital Realty, Savvis, Telx, IO, Net Access, Sentinel and Equinix.

“Our agents are looking for a carrier they can depend on for industry-leading customer service and reliable, state-of-the-art technology,” states Mike Carrosquilla, SVP of Commercial Services for RCN. “Thanks to our partnership with Cross River Fiber, we are expanding the RCN footprint to offer high quality services throughout the northeast. Cross River Fiber’s dense network also gives us access to a variety of data centers in New Jersey, offering another key benefit to our channel partners.”

“We are proud to partner with RCN Business and look forward to enabling their channel partners with the ability to connect clients to more carrier hotels, data centers and customer locations,” says Vincenzo Clemente, Chief Executive Officer of Cross River Fiber. “As RCN Business extends its reach, their agents are now able to offer customers a secure and scalable network with access to dark fiber, wavelength, Ethernet and other critical network services. We are dedicated to offering a network that is scalable and secure, and our partnership with RCN Business will bring our network to a greater variety of clients.”
