RCN Renews Lease with Mericle for Luzerne County Facility
Princeton, NJ (PRWEB) August 11, 2015 -- RCN, an industry-leading provider of high-speed Internet, digital TV and phone services, is pleased to announce that it has agreed to a lease extension with Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services for the 40,000 square foot office space that it currently occupies at 100 Baltimore Drive in the East Mountain Corporate Center, Plains Township. This lease term will be extended up to 10 years, until 2025 and allows RCN to maintain their customer service and other corporate operations in the Wyoming Valley. RCN is a top 10 cable company that has customers in Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia, and Chicago.

Besecker said Mericle will be making modifications to the space to accommodate RCN. “We’ll be doing quite a bit of interior construction to give RCN the customized space they need to be successful well into the future,” he said. “RCN is one of the largest office employers in Northeastern Pennsylvania. We are very proud that their hundreds of local employees will call a Mericle building home for many years to come.”
