ReBath Northeast Helps Raise Money for Local Foundation
Forty Fort, PA (PRWEB) October 04, 2013 -- ReBath Northeast will be sponsoring a hole at the Ice House Pub/ Think Pink Foundation Golf Tournament this Saturday at Sand Springs, in Drums. The tournament begins at 9:30 a.m. and registration is currently closed. The event has become so popular there is a waiting list.
ReBath Northeast has sponsored a hole at the golf tournament since Think Pink began hosting them four years ago. Two of the co-founders of the Think Pink Foundation, Kim Davis and Danielle Cavanaugh, work at ReBath Northeast. Owner Rich Rome knows about all of the fundraising they do for their organization and is always happy to help out.
Along with sponsoring a hole at the tournament, Rome and other ReBath Northeast associates donate money and items for many of the fundraisers the Think Pink Foundation holds throughout the year.
Think Pink will be holding another fundraiser at the end of October. On Sunday, October 27, the Think Pink Foundation will be hosting a tailgate party at the American Legion1 1550 Henry Drive, in Mountain Top. Admission is $20 in advance and $30 at the door. Big screen TVs will have the 1 p.m. Eagles vs. Giants game, the Patriots vs. Dolphins, as well as the 4 p.m. Steelers vs. Raiders game. Food and beverages will be served.
Money raised at the golf tournament this weekend and the tailgate party on Oct. 27 will go directly to the Think Pink Foundation, to help members of Luzerne County, who are in need of support during their fight against cancer.
The Think Pink Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that strives to help local woman and their families, who are currently affected by cancer.
In September, the Think Pink Foundation was able to help their first recipient. Leona Elko, of Nanticoke, is a 42 year-old, mother of two, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in March. The Think Pink Foundation gave Elko money to pay past due medical bills.
